Mister Charles is the fifth restaurant from Duro Hospitality. It occupies the space of the old Highland Park Soda Fountain, the 106-year-old favorite that served  generations of Dallasites. Mister Charles is a throwback with a menu that conjures up the lost world of 1960s and 1970s “continental” fine dining. What’s old is new again. Executive Chef Brendan Frankel’s menu highlights seminal classics of seared scallops, sole meunière filleted tableside, lobster thermidor, and lamb Wellington just to name a few. The drink menu makes features of extraordinary martinis, and for dessert, the baked Alaska is not to be missed!
